2-houser-logosYou might be asking yourself, “why would Husker Refuse sales reps be telling Houser Refuse customers that they’re affiliate with Houser Refuse and a sister company of Houser Refuse?”

Houser Refuse

We were wondering the same thing over here at Houser Refuse. Then it dawned on us. It’s so they can pass it off that they’re a local company that’s associated with a long standing, well established local company. Houser Refuse has been providing trash service in Lincoln Nebraska since 1976.

As you can see in the picture, Husker Refuse even went so far as to take the “HR” logo Houser Refuse was first using, trademarked it, and started using it as their logo. Houser Refuse had already been using the “HR” logo for at least six months prior to Husker Refuse coming in, underhandedly, and taking it. That just doesn’t make sense to us. But, they wanted to make it look like they had been established here longer than they had been. Unfortunately for them, Houser Refuse was already being recognized as “HR” and all they had to do was make a minor alteration to their original logo.

If you look at the picture above you’ll see that both are original Houser Refuse logo’s.

Husker Refuse is NOT Affiliated with Houser Refuse

We want to make that crystal clear. Husker Refuse is owned by Marcus Stevens and Raphael Mordo. They reside in Utah and Delaware where they have another garbage company, Evergreenws.com They try to make themselves appear local on their Husker website, but every business has to file those papers in order to operate in Lincoln.

So please, if a Husker Refuse rep comes to your door and tells you that they’re affiliated with Houser Refuse, it’s a lie. We’ve even had people tell us that Raphael worked at Houser Refuse for 20 years.

I guess people will say anything to make a buck.

Thank you for your support all these years and thanks for supporting your local trash hauler.
